8805 Almag Outrigger Jack
The standard Model 8805 Almag Outrigger Jack offers simple, reliable use through better design and materials. With no fasteners and no rusting parts, simply move the bronze latch to raise and lower the Almag Jack Leg into position and replace the latch. It is that simple.

Positioning Collars & Sleeves
Our aluminum bronze reel positioning collar and tapered cone provide a secure, concentric hold for your reels.
Install the insert sleeve on the reel bar and insert it into the reel as far as possible. Install the reel positioning collar directly behind the sleeve flange and tighten the locking bolt to 50 ft-lbs. You can generally approximate this torque by hand tightening the nut and then applying on complete turn (360°) if a torque wrench is not available. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the lifting hooks.

Positioning Collars
- Provides positive clamping power to hold reels in place.
- Completely non-ferrous components ensure long life and rust-free operation.
- Lifting Hooks provide a convenient location to attach a sling to automatically center the reel load. Each hook has a capacity rating of 7000 lbs. Item 16289 does not require tools to remove or install.
- Model 8060 Spreader Bar (not shown) for payout while the reel is elevated by a load line.
Tapered Sleeve
- Bronze construction provides for smooth, concentric reel rotation.

The breakaway and battery modules are often the most neglected element of trailer electrical systems. Because many breakaway devices are never called into use, it’s easy to understand why it might be overlooked. Section 393.43 of the Federal Code states that a breakaway system “. . . shall be provided to maintain application of the brakes on the trailer in such case for at least 15 minutes.” Many “lantern” style and small battery systems will clearly not meet this Federal requirement. Even larger batteries may be caught low on power if they are not checked at regular intervals. With shrinking maintenance resources available, breakaway batteries may not receive the attention they need. Given the exposure involved, it just makes good business sense to specify the best components available.

Wheel Chock ratings are based on the recommended practice of placing two chocks at each non-steering axle, one set on both the right and left side of the vehicle, blocking the tire in the direction of the incline. Note that the U.S. Department of Transportation provides that the maximum single-axle weight limit on Federal highways is 20,000 lbs. The tandem-axle limit is 34,000 lbs. in combination, with some exceptions up to 40,000 lbs. at very wide axle spreads. Some states may allow higher weights due to “grandfather” rights. With simple attachment for convenient placement, our 5/8″ x 5″ bronze lug offers fast and secure grounding.
Our grounding lug is cast from C95400 Silicon Bronze which has 52% better conductivity than the carbon steel frame it is ultimately attached to. When installed on Hot Dipped Galvanized equipment, the C65100 Silicon Bronze fasteners mate the lug directly to the galvanized surface. Sauber Mfg. Co. provided Hot-Dipped Galvanized finish has more than triple the conductivity of the underlying carbon steel. These essential components are strongly resistant to corrosion and will endure decades of unsheltered use.

Bolt-on Swivel D-Ring
This is the only D-ring that has both the benefit of being replaceable and easily added or relocated without welding. In fact, our D-rings contain no welds at all due our bolt-together design. The ring is supported by our C95700 aluminum bronze backer casting, making it an unrivaled, exceptionally tough solution. Both the D-ring itself and the attachment bracket are hot-dipped galvanized, and the assembly is rated at a 9,120-lb. working load limit.
Our side-mounted D-rings allow for an unobstructed deck, which is particularly helpful with wide equipment.

If you’ve ever tried tensioning wire with a sub-par brake, you will recall the panic when the line starts surging and you have difficulty maintaining tension, a scenario most often experienced because the tensioning brake was made from steel components that have rusted in place.

Almag Outrigger Stabilizer Jacks
Experience shows that outriggers are seldom worn out; typically, they are torn off in transit because they were not convenient to fully elevate. These stabilizers feature a bronze latch that involves a simple swing action to lock into the stepped positions on the Almag shaft. Our modular, bolt-on design provides quick, weld-free serviceability when required.
EZ-Up Jack
Why spend time cranking a jack? We designed this swing away jack that requires minimal cranking before simply swinging into the horizontal position. With an easy-to-use handle and no pins, it easily rotates 90° for horizontal travel, providing maximum ground clearance. Jacks can be fitted with sand shoes or non-rusting swivel casters. All include a simple retainer for the jack handle when not in use.
